Astro Club after school programmes run for years 1-6 Now at three locations.
Just imagine being able to visit the planets of our solar system, watch rockets blasting off, see the first person walk on the moon, get up close to a black hole, learn constellation patterns, see the early Earth and watch dinosaurs roaming around, learn about the Milky Way and other galaxies, observe the colours of the stars - all without even leaving school! These are just a few of the many many things you can experience at a Discovery Dome Astro Club.
The only after school astronomy clubs in Hong Kong that take place inside an inflatable mobile planetarium!
Astro-Club by Discovery Dome is a truly unique after school astronomy club for children in Hong Kong. Our clubs are very popular with girls and boys of all ages.
Astro club be at Kellett School on Mondays and Tuesdays and at Kennedy School on Thursdays and will be at Bradbury School on Fridays.
Every session features time inside our inflatable mobile planetarium Discovery Dome, as well as an opportunity to engage in fun STEAM based activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths).
We write an extensive curriculum that changes for each term - many students return again and again so we always vary our activities.
We aim to create a stimulating environment that engages children in learning about space, the Earth and the environment.
